FORGET ME NOTS
1) Do
not forget to be patient with yourself. Don’t compare yourself with others.
2) Do
not forget the difference between a good sacrifice and a poor sacrifice and
choose the better part.
3) Do
not forget to be happy now. Do not continually look for the golden ticket like
was found on the chocolate bar in Charlie’s Chocolate Factory and miss out of
the enjoyment of the candy bar.
4) Do
not forget the why of the gospel. It is the why of the gospel that sanctifies
us. The why is life and existence and that more abundantly.
5) Do
not forget the Lord loves you.
When I heard this talk I felt full affirmation and confirmation from the Holy Ghost and my Heavenly Father that I was on the path that I was called to be on. I knew that I was not seeking after that which was contrary to his will. (Even with the confirmation I got a priesthood blessing the next day at church and this also continued to affirm the direction and course that my heart is drawing me in and my life is taking.
With all my heart I desire to teach and testify that God loves us so much that he sent his only begotten son that whosoever believeth on him should not perish but have everlasting life.
AND this means that:
Life is something we are to embrace, enjoy, and delight in. God gave us life so that we might have joy and value and that we might savor the experience moment by moment and not something that we simply have to endure.
