Existence is what we are fighting for.
Endurance may be a part of life but it is not life.
Endurance is not a way of life, it is death.
If you are enduring you are not living.
Too many people think otherwise, especially in the church,
especially those with temple endowments and this is because they do not understand
what the temple is about.
The temple gives promises of life through Christ by the
power of God’s love if we receive it. To endure existence is not life. Life is
to be full and free and fun and challenging and rewarding. Life is for living! This
is why Christ died! He did not die so we could endure; he died so that we might
have life and have it more abundantly.
Life is something we must claim. We must reach out and grab
it. Not through addiction and distraction but through claiming who we are and
the love that is our inheritance from God through Jesus Christ. Everything upon
earth can be faced into truth, light, and life or into ignorance, darkness, and
death. We each have the power to turn it into that which we claim. And by the
choices we make and the way we choose to view our life and experiences we will
claim that amount of truth, light, and life or ignorance, darkness, and death. We
do it each and every day. We claim our heritage. Our fore fathers did and we do
as well.
