Fear versus Faith

Did you know that fear can turn to anger and anger can lead to envy, jealousy, and even hate causing us to push others away? True acceptance of the atonement means that we must give up fear and replace it with faith in Jesus Christ.

All of us have enemies and challenges and down right trials. The difference with a person of faith is that this persons knows (and shows it by their actions) that they are taken care of by angels and no matter what happens to them they will accept it as God's will. This does not mean they put themselves in a place to get hurt.

You can tell a person of true faith because they do not have to put others down to build themselves up. They understand that life is different for each of us and they do not envy others. They are also industrious people seeking to better their own circumstances and that of others.

An excellent book that discusses this concept is The Christmas Sweater by Glenn Beck. Now I am not discussing his political views here only his book that is a novel based on a true story. It is one worth reading every year as a bit of insurance and protection for all ages against the monster that threatens us when our life turns upside down like it can at times.

Our actions need to be based founded on love, love that comes from God and is freely given as we accept the atonement and right to "be" that Jesus Christ **not the world** gives us.

We can chose what we believe and if we believe in the ability to be...anger, fear, and hatred take that choice and ability away from us.
